Printed circuit boards, computer hosing,
electrical boxes, electrical insulation
One of the best properties of glass is that it is an electrical insulator. Woven glass fabrics also provide electrical insulation in the composites they are used in. The single largest usage of woven glass fabrics is electronic for printed circuit boards in digital and radio frequency applications. In addition many high voltage applications use woven glass fabrics, from back planes and circuit breaker panels back to cabinets and insulator sticks for substantions. Many smaller insulator applications use manchined parts from composites made of woven glass insulation.
Application:
Printed circuit boards, stand-off insulator, back planes, circuit braker panels, electric line insulators for mining cable clamps; high voltage generator, motor and stator wedges, and insulation blocks. High voltage transmission line insulator sticks and handling equipment including the boom trucks to install and service these lines
